Welcome
The University Center is the Student Union at UCSB offering a variety of products and services to students, faculty, staff, alumni and campus visitors. Approximately 10,000 visits are made to the UCen on an average day with additional visits of 5,000-6,000 at our satellite operations. The UCen also provides jobs for approximately 500 students giving them a "real world" learning experience outside of the classroom. We strive to contribute to the intellectual, cultural, social and recreational life of the campus.

Represents the qualities we value most in our UCen culture. Our primary goal is helping others, and ultimately, this means our effort starts with ourselves. We must take care of ourselves, make good decisions, consider our actions carefully, and always strive to learn new things.
