UCSB Jazz Ensemble and the Hub
The UCSB Jazz Ensemble and the Hub presents performances by two jazz groups currently rehearsing at UCSB. Jazz Combo A, directed by Jon Nathan, (a continuing Lecturer in Percussion and Jazz) will present music for jazz octet and nonet by Wynton Marsalis, Dave Pell, Chick Corea, and Latin jazz by Michal Philip Mossman, including vocal performances by Laura Witucka.
UCSB's "B" Jazz Band Directed by Tanner Cassidy (PhD Candidate, Music Theory) will perform music by Chick Corea, Bill Holman and others. Vocalist Bella Holland joins for Ain't Misbehavin' and Almost Like Being in Love.
